Abstract
Attentive Cleaning Robot (S)Status: Abgeschlossen
It happens very often that a vacuum cleaner at home "swallows" different small objects lying on the floor or under the sofa so that owner can't find them any more. This can be avoided if an "attentive" cleaner would recognise "useful" objects and prevent them from being sucked in.
The goal of this project is to enhance the Smart Vacuum Cleaner* so that it can recognise the RFID-tagged objects on the floor and perform actions suitable in this situation (drive around the object, warn the owner, etc...).
Language: Deutsch / Englisch
*The Smart Vacuum Cleaner (SVC) was developed in our student laboratory and can determine its position from RFID tags and then perform an appropriate action, such as vacuum a not yet visited place, or go backwards when it approaches the border, etc..
