Web Service enabled gateway for low-power mobile devices (M)

In this project we propose to investigate and evaluate existing approaches for automated discovery of low-power devices and implement a discovery system on a microserver device (TMote Connect) that can connect to the devices using wireless communication (e.g. zigbee or bluetooth). A software protocol for dynamic discovery and management for mobile devices (Sun SPOTs) should be proposed, and the microserver should offer an interface to dynamically access the mobile devices from the internet (using web services or a web interface).
