Graphical Instantiation Editor (D)

The diploma project will contribute to the development of the automated framework instantiation environment. In particular, the project will include a conceptual model of how software components in a framework can interact, that means a framework model for the graphical environment. The configuration and assembling steps of the framework components will be specified in the graphical environment and encoded to XML. Attention should also be paid to an easy-to-use graphical user interface. The prototype environment should be built as an Eclipse plug-in – based on Eclipse Modeling Framework and Graphical Editing Framework. The project should be done in the following major steps:

• Build a conceptual model of how software components in a framework can interact.
• Implement the graphical environment that allows configuring and assembling framework components.
• Demonstrate the effectiveness of the environment on the following test cases: AOCS Framework and Smart Box Framework.
