Abstract
Context-aware real-time Interaction with Cars (B)Status: Abgeschlossen
Our group has recently started to cooperate with an online platform that enables car owners to confidentially share their vehicle data across multiple applications, to improve the transportation experience for all stakeholders (e.g., governments, individuals, car manufacturers) as well as potentially monetize their generated data.
The goal of this project is to make use of this data (currently, we have access to live data streams from 12 cars) and implement several proof-of-concept applications (Webapps or Android) as well as experimenting with the embedding of metadata within the cars's data. Potentially, we will also have access to several actuators of the cars (e.g., door locks). While we have several specific use cases in mind, we can absolutely accomodate your own interests and ideas!
Tools: Mainly Java, Android, REST/Web programming (JAX-RS), JSON and the like
If you are interested in the project and would like to know more about it, drop us a line. We can adapt to account for what you feel is most exciting in this domain. Student/Bearbeitet von: Thomas Meier Contact/Ansprechpartner: Leyna Sadamori, Simon Mayer
