Abstract
Online Gyroscope-Camera Autocalibration for Image Enhancement on Smartphones (M)Status: Abgeschlossen
In this thesis the student has to develop an online algorithm for calibrating the camera and the IMU of a smartphone. The algorithm has to run directly on the smartphone. After calibration, the sensor values of the built-in accelerometer and gyroscope can be used to estimate the camera motion during a shot. The motion information can help subsequent image restoration algorithms such as motion blur removal, video stabilization, or panorama stitching.
