Dr. Christof Roduner is a senior researcher at the Institute for Pervasive Computing at ETH Zurich. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from ETH Zurich. He studied computer science and business administration at the University of Zurich, Switzerland and the University of Uppsala, Sweden and received his Master's degree from the University of Zurich. Before joining the Institute for Pervasive Computing, he was responsible for the Internet business unit at a Zurich-based IT services company. From August to December 2008, he was a visiting researcher at the Auto-ID Lab at MIT in Cambridge, MA.
Christof is the co-founder of Mirasense AG, the ETH Zurich spin-off company that is behind Scandit, the leading barcode scanning platform for mobile phones. He is also the co-founder of Fosstrak, the EPC Network-compliant open source RFID middleware.
